The 8mm Lead Screw Barrel Hub is a balanced clamping hub that has a specialized bore to clamp down on an 8mm Lead Screw. While a conventional 8mm clamping hub works in some cases, there are times where it’s necessary to have a tighter hold and that’s exactly what this hub does. Given the threaded bore, this hub makes contact with the entire surface of the lead screw thread rather than just the outer diameter. The dual pinch bolts not only offer excellent clamping force, but they also keep the hub perfectly balanced given they are directly opposing one-another. Patents pending.
