Decode almost any type of 1D (stripe) barcode in your project using this compact barcode reader. This OEM scanner has a small internal camera that takes 100 photos per second instead of using a "scan mirror" assembly. This means it is less likely to be damaged or misaligned.
Like all barcode readers, some basic settings can be made by turning it on and "scanning" the special barcodes in the manual. For example, you can change the delay between "typed" characters or what the termination character should be, if any. Check the download card for the printable manual. If you want to set the scanner to be different from the default, print it on white paper and scan each "setup" code. The configuration will be saved in non-volatile memory, so you only need to do this once.
This reader will read a wide variety of barcode standards. The most common ones such as CODE39 and UPC are immediately supported. To enable some of the rarer standards, check the manual as you may need to "scan your configuration" to enable it.
